Wayne and I have been trying to figure out how we know each other but for the life of us neither of us can remember. What matters is that Wayne is also from the deep, deep South, and that alone justifies our friendship (smile).

Wayne co-founded Q-East Broadband -- a leading next generation communications company focusing on trans-Pacific and intra-Asia broadband solutions for Internet service providers (ISPs), carriers, Internet companies, and SMEs -- before moving back to the bay area where he currently resides. The truth is that I never quite understood his line of work nor did he mine... but that's okay... I think...

The POINT is, Wayne is cool. He runs in the a.m., works out in the p.m., and conducts business during all hours in between. He cooks, he sails boats off the Hong Kong Harbor, he speaks 3 or 4 different languages fluently, and he knows all the great places to eat, around the world and in particular, Japan.

I love getting together with him because I get to harass him about all the trials and tribulations of starting a business, since he's been there and done that. Heh heh.
