Quynh and I knew each other way back in college but didn't exactly get along when we first met. I was part of the group that founded the first Asian American Association on campus. When I tried to give her a party flyer, she looked at me like I was STUPID. That was back when she was anti-Asian. Since then, she's come to her senses.

Quynh was always better friends with my brother since I met her just before I left for Stony Brook. I would run into her from time to time since we had a number of mutual friends from school but eventually I moved to Taiwan and never thought I'd see her again, at least not in Taiwan. Quynh after all, ain't Chinese!

Quynh came out to Taiwan on a Rotary scholarship and ended up staying after her program was over. I got to know her a lot better and often thought of her as my little sister. We looked out for each other, defended one another and sometimes even fought with each other. That's what happens when you know people very well. Sometimes they just get on each other's nerves!

Quynh is quite a character and has a LOT of quirks that I can make fun of, but for the purposes of this profile I'll just say here that she is one of the most caring and sincerest individuals I know. You can't get upset with her when she starts her notorious lectures. She only does it because she cares so much, and that is why we LOVE HER SO!
