Mike is my lawyer in Taipei. He is also my good friend. Actually he was my friend before he became my lawyer but these days, I can't tell the difference. Professionally, he is a very serious, conscientious, and dedicated attorney. Everything has to be logical and in good form, and you can't talk about anything with him without it turning into a legal discussion. Well okay I confess, I'm the one who is always asking him questions about the law but the point I'm making is that for the longest time, I thought Mike was a very serious person. I was wrong. Outside of work... Mike is a Taiwan/Hong Kong superstar GROUPIE. Most people do not realize that he will go out of his way to get front row tickets to their concerts and at least twice has been seen on television waving at the camera like a teeny bopping BUBBLE GUM. And that's what I like about Mike. He is who he is.

Mike is extremely easy to talk to, about anything personal or otherwise. He makes a great lawyer friend as he doesn't judge nor repeat the things I say no matter how crazy. I know that I can trust him. But what I love most about Mike is that whenever I call him at the office, he always gives me his undivided attention without knowing what I'm about to say. How I know this is because each time I get him on the phone, I can hear him leaning way back in his big executive office chair. It seriously needs to be greased.
