Jimmy is a good friend of mine whom I met through my brother. We both used to live in D.C. where we first met. I was with the USA-ROC Council at the time, and Jimmy worked for Andersen Consulting. We used to hang out a lot and had a lot of mutual friends, but we really didn't get to know each other until after we both left the area, thanks in large part to the Internet.

I think we were chatting online one day when the conversation turned a serious corner. Only then did I realize how little we really knew each other when we lived in the same town, as for the most part we always hung out in crowds. I have always known that Jimmy was a very well-mannered, kind, and generous guy (not to mention tall and handsome!), but I hadn't realized that there was so much more to him that makes him such a cool guy.

Aside from the fact that we are both in the industry, are relatively active in the Asian American community and have lots of mutual friends, what it is that I like so much about Jimmy is that he upholds a level of personal integrity that to me is such a rare find. He most definitely has his goofy moments (see picture) and is a lot of fun to be around, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty details of our work and our personal lives, Jimmy is someone I can and do talk to quite often.
