Herman is a relatively new friend of mine in Taipei who is also the current head of CAPT. He's smart, successful, friendly, athletic, polite, handsome, and articulate, and has attracted the attention of just about all the women I know in Taipei... even those with boyfriends. Heh heh.

The first time I met Herman was the Friday after the devastating 921 earthquake that rocked the island like Bubble Tea. For some incredibly insane reason (I suppose because most of us had no electricity and no place else to go), we were all errr... partying at Juliana's. Do not ask me why. We sought each other's company, or something like that (yeah right). Amidst all the booty shaking, we were all shaken up inside. IT'S TRUE.

The next time I met Herman was at a friend's friend's house. Herman was playing Dreamcast like there was NO TOMORROW and could not be bothered. I even remember trying to sell CAPT Christmas tickets (of all things) to others in the room, trying to get his attention as well. He paid me none. Since then I've gotten to know Herman a little better. I can see why all the women love him (wink wink).
