Acer Ginny
works at Acer. Duh. There are two prominent Ginnys in Taipei, and Acer Ginny would be one of them. She knows EVERYBODY. Ginny and I actually met online and under rather unusual circumstances. She had worked for Microsoft and the Asian American Theatre in Seattle before deciding to move to Taiwan and was making contacts beforehand as much as possible.

Ginny started messaging me through AsianAvenue.com and said, "Hi! I'm planning to move to Taiwan and saw your profile, just wondering if you could help me =)" so I showed her some pages of the .ORG site which had not launched yet and also noticed her frequent use of the smiley icon:    =).

Apparently Ginny was also emailing Jun whom she met online through mutual friends in Seattle, such that by the time Jun said to me, "By the way, a friend of a friend of mine is moving out to Taipei and I told her that she should get in touch with you", I was REALLY confused when the woman he spoke of emailed me and said, "Hi! I'm planning to move to Taiwan and was just wondering if you could help me =)". Oh my. Could it be the very same person?! It most certainly was...

Which brings me to my description of Acer Ginny. Ginny has two titles - Network Queen and Queen of Marketing. She gets those parties started! No one does it better than this girl. Acer Ginny is full of LIFE, on the go, charming, flirtatious, VERY SEXY and always up to something! I can't keep up with her... just writing this profile is making me hyperventilate!
