On this date last year...
"Christmas Eve..."
So this is what I did all day -- ate, slept, had coffee, worked on b-plan, hung out with the folks, and ate some more.
Let me add to the list of "things to get used to again in America" and that is -- the existence of dryers and how they make your clothes SHRINK. With all that I've been eating, and my clothes SHRINKING in the dryer, I'm starting to feel like a can of sardines!
Dinner we had at Richard's place --> Chinese hot pot.
Exactly what I've been looking forward to eating now that I'm back home for the holidays! LOL! 'Twas a nice little family gathering. Afterwards we dropped by Uncle Peter and Aunt Muse's place to eat more food (somebody help!), and Uncle Peter gave me a special Christmas/Birthday gift:
This gift was such a RIOT. Uncle Peter is crazy! He tops the list of the "Top 10 Most Animated and Creative People" I know. His command of all the languages (Beijing Mandarin, Taiwanese Mandarin, Taiwanese and English) totally tripped us out.
Actually, a lot of my parents' friends are a bit on the whacky side.
Maybe that's why... errrr... never mind.
