Sunday, November 26th

A busy Sunday afternoon para me...

All I remember about this morning is that someone was knocking on the front door at 7:30 a.m. Guess who. Nelson. He had been out partying all night and I'm not allowed to tell anyone what he did and whom he did it with. LOL... I crack myself up sometimes.

Since Nelson made new plans for the day (cough cough), I was able to focus on tomorrow's EB and scan the rest of the photos from my 35mm camera, which we got back from the film store after returning from the beach yesterday.

I have decided that I do not enjoy scanning photos. Now that I have this digital camera in working order, may I never have to scan another picture again. It's way too time consuming.

Plus, I don't like the current design of scanners. They need to be more like traditional bread toasters in such a way that I can just pop a photo in, push a trigger, and boom - scanned photo appears on my screen. Wouldn't that be nice to have?

Playing around with the digital camera...

While I was scanning, I also played around with the digital camera software. Since my USB port is still not functioning, and Gus went to the U.S. on Friday, I installed the digital camera software at another computer and messed around with the webcam function. Here's my conclusion. High technology can be freaking SCARY.

I also recorded an AVI file that I was going to add to this journal entry but it was too large to copy to a diskette (even as a zip file) and I was too lazy to try and figure out how I could otherwise transfer it. Maybe some other time but at least I know how the WEBCAM function works. It's overwhelming how powerful this little device is. Two photos I took:

The pictures aren't that clear but it will do for now. I'm quite impressed with this little thing.
