Sunday, October 29th

Nada mucho aqui.

Another quiet day. Adella took off to meet a student. Laurie and I hung around the apartment working on our computers and reading. I helped myself to two cups of instant coffee, too lazy to run down to Starbucks, and was pretty much focused on this website. As I mentioned a dozen times already, I cannot wait to get the infrastructure in place.

I also put together tomorrow's EB, which took much longer than usual. First, activity on the site has increased significantly, and second, the connection was terribly slow. We may need to look into hosting our site elsewhere.

Carpal tunnel woes...

Well I don't know if any of the anti-carpal peripherals has helped much, but I have definitely gone through great measures to change the way I type. I've recently started to sit on the floor with my laptop on my lap, which surprisingly, is quite comfortable. I'm beginning to wonder why they are called "laptops"...

At the office, I've reverted back to the old keyboard, as the mini-one forced me to keep my arms too close together, which made my shoulders and back ache. Can I whine or what. And the mini-mouse wasn't working for me either, but that was because the ball at the bottom didn't seem to grip the mouse pad too well. I tried playing the piano for a bit today, but obviously, I wasn't on it for too long.

My good 'ole laptop...

I really need to just bury this laptop of mine, but until I can replace it with a better one, it will have to do. For over a year now, the on/off button has been broken, and I've had to use the tip of a pen to pick at it just to turn it on. Aren't I pathetic? Well today, I finally got so fed up with it that I started attacking it like mad with my pen, and lo and behold, guess what happened. The button completely broke off and in front of me was the magic little metal switch. WHY THERE YOU ARE. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU.

I really need to look into those Acer Travelmates...

Laurie, Adella, and a dog?

My housemates want to get a house pet. Right. I have never had a pet in my life. They've been talking about this for a few weeks now and are thinking about getting either a cat or a dog. Today they were suppose to go and check out a Dalmatian. It errr... should be uh, interesting, to see what they end up bringing home... HELP.
