"About last night... WOW!"
Ginny and I went to the CAPT Social Hour together and did what we usually do when we arrive -- we split up! I guess because we see so much of each other during the week that we don't even think to hang out at these events, kind of funny how that happens. She loves me, LOL!
I also ran into --> LOBERT OO! His real name is Robert Wu but for some reason "Lobert Oo" seems more fitting. He was in from Hong Kong to do the Starbucks thingy (my intelligence level is really shining through here... I can feel it...) so we had a chance to catch up. He was complaining that I'm always making fun of him on my website. I was like, "Me? I would never do that to my friends! Gasp!"
I also ran into good 'ole Joe Fye -- Mr. Spycam! I had to request that both gentlemen lean into the table where there was more light so that I could snag these photos. Soon after, the lights were dimmed, so that was the end of my photo shoot for the evening.
I had a good time but left a little early. I wanted to get home early to take care of some stuff, but I ended up grabbing a bite to eat with Flora at a cafe near our apartments. That woman absolutely amazes me -- to the point of utter disbelief -- and yet, I don't believe I will ever be allowed to say why...

"Felicia and her right foot..."
Felicia had a little problem that turned into a big problem. She's had a little rash on her right foot for a couple of days but didn't think it was any big deal and spent all of yesterday exploring Taipei.
"Felicia, raise your leg higher please..."
This morning as I was walking out the door, I noticed that she was sitting in the living room working on her laptop with her right foot packed in ice, propped up on a pillow. Her foot was swolllen, yet she didn't know the cause. Afterall, Sandin is the one who trips over herself all the time.
I came back for lunch to take care of some things. Felicia had not moved. Well, she said she did, but I have my suspicions. Apparently, the swelling was pretty serious, so we ended up going to the hospital after lunch. Her rash had turned into an infection and had spread to her tissue.
In spite of the scare, we managed to have a good time. The doctor was cute too, strugging to speak English to an ABT who couldn't reallly speak Taiwanese and and ABC who pretended to speak Mandarin. Throughout the ordeal, and at every counter we had to go to, we both got stuck trying to explain her foot problem in Chinese to the hospital staff.
"Felicia, that nail polish better be Urban Decay..."
I had to resort to visual presentation by raising her foot into the air and pointing at it vehemently. What a very "Christine" thing to do. LOL. Felicia later said, "Thank God for squats, otherwise I would never be able to stand on one leg." What a very "Felicia" thing to say. LOL!
Question for you medical professionals out there:
Wellpin
Acetaminophen 500mg
Danzen
Amoxicillin 500mg
Should Felicia be taking ALL of these prescribed pills as listed above? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as we can't help but think that that is an AWFUL LOT of pills for a swollen right foot, no? By the way... this is not an Opinion Poll question, for those that might be wondering...

A long but VERY productive day...
By the time I got back from the circus (hospital, same thing...), there was not that much time left in the work day, so I ended up online chatting with Raymond instead. Nice guy! I rarely have a moment to chat with him but since it was so late on a Friday afternoon, I figured, what the heck. SCREW IT.
After work I ran to the Starbucks at AsiaWorld to meet two individuals who have volunteered to be our newest moderators for the ORIENTED Rants & Raves forum (new name TBD...). We did take pictures, but I haven't decided if I want to release their identities just yet. Brave young men they are. Hope they don't get killed.
In the meantime, I got an email just now from PRESIDENT LEE (I'm serious!):
Ms. Hsu,
It has been brought to my attention that you
may need a moderator for your website, Orien-
ted. Since I have years of political experi-
ence in Taiwan, and am currently doing abso-
lutely nothing, I know I am your man for the
job.
I am looking forward to this opportunity to
serve you and the people of Taiwan.
