I was telling a friend of mine the other day that I have been feeling completely lost these past couple of weeks. Trying to concentrate at the office -- on the days that I am actually here -- has been next to impossible. Having so many relatives to see is great but MAN does it cut into my time management abilities much less my thoughts! What's my name again?

I can't decide whether it is better to have relatives in town all year round or if it is more fun to see everyone all at once. All I know is that Wypoh probably cannot WAIT for everyone to leave. We've completely taken over every single room of her house. As I was brushing my teeth this morning, I happened to notice this:

The last few days at my grandmother's, I just hung out with Hsiao-Hwei and the folks from Holland. Also ran errands here and there looking for Taiwanese story books and black market CDs (long story) while the rest of them spent the day at ING-GE. We picked up some food from Subway late last night and as predicted, it was woofed down in a matter of minutes.

Iwen gave me a demo CD that he and his friends put together earlier this year. They formed a band called PRUDENCE (site will be up soon). Dood. Just think, he might be famous! They've been invited to talk about their work at a local Dutch radio station in August. Pretty cool.

Clearly my thoughts are in complete disarray (if anyone understood that then I'm amazed) but I endeavor to put them down regardless. LOL. We also spent a LOT OF TIME making copies of all the photos that were taken this past week. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Just when we thought we got it all done, we realized that Ah-Mei and Ah-Din were not around to pick out their own. So, I sat down to do it for them (I'm such a good cousin) and almost started crying! It was SO PAINFUL! WAH!

Thank goodness for Aunt Sophia. She is so very organized that I cloaked a new medical terminology in her name called --> "Sophia Tendencies". It occurs when one feels a sudden need to be anal and organized and can't think about anything else until the said Chaos is put in its appropriate order in the Universe.

Aunt Sophia was the one who got all the photos in its initial order -- from placing them into booklets to numbering the booklets against the associated negatives to numbering each photo in each booklet so that anyone else who wanted to make copies could do so with minimum inefficiency. What would we do without her?!

We also got our studio photos back too. They turned out quite nicely! I made a little slide show for only the cousins' portraits, hopefully I'll find some time this weekend to scan the rest of the ones I have. I'm back in Taipei now and should be around for the long haul. Errr... I think.

"Errr... office scanner is dirty... so shoot me!"
