"I hate to admit it..."

... but I am really, really sick. The thing is, I *NEVER* get sick. 'Twas something I used to brag about for years and years and years (me strong woman!) but the events of the last couple of weeks has really gotten the best of me. I HATE THIS FEELING. My head is throbbing, my nose is running, and my throat hurts from coughing. WAHHH!!! Okay alright so I'm being a brat. What can I do? Nada.

I thought I'd just make this an independent journal entry. My being sick is pretty significant. I did however, get some stuff done at the office, namely with my job job and with ORIENTED. I talked to Gus for a little bit as well. As Maoman noted, we need to address the Rants & Raves issue sooner than later.

The other event which I unfortunately did not partake in was meeting Agent Paul's friend, Bryan. Apparently some of the girls went out with him last night. I wonder how it went, though I was feeling too ill today to follow up. Will do that tomorrow.

About last night...

I barely made it to Wypoh's place just a little after 8:15 p.m. after work last night to go back to the portrait studio and select the photos that we wanted to keep. There were seven of us in total, and MAN was it a painful process.

Deciding amongst six almost identical photos of twenty-four people in one sitting was next to impossible! At one point both Iwen, Uncle Bob and I got a little antsy and started goofing around with my pencam. (Well I started goofing around; Iwen just participated). If this ain't height differentiation... I don't know what is.

"Iwen, get down! You barely fit in my lense!"

Iwen cracked us up because evidently he left his tennis shoes at the portrait studio when we were all there last Sunday. They never moved. He was so happy to see his shoes there, makes you wonder how long they would have sat there had he not remembered. Plus, who the heck could FIT into them anyway?!

Anyway, we didn't get out of there until almost 10:30 p.m., and by then... I was starving. As we were driving back to Wypoh's place, lo and behold, guess what we saw -- SUBWAY SANDWICHES -- one minute before closing.

We bought three foot-longs which were devoured within minutes. I was making fun of Da Ai-yee in saying that she must have to earn a lot of money to feed a boy the size of Iwen. I'm just a little PEANUT compared to him! LOL!

More photos

Anyway, it was really painful getting back up to Taipei this morning. I went to bed late last night -- per usual -- and had to get up at an ungodly hour in order to get to the office on time. I barely made it. Am looking forward to a good night's rest.
