If this ain't a New Economy Comedy, I don't know what is.

I happened to be on the ORIENTED Forums today and about DIED LAUGHING when I read these posts. THESE guys are out of their MINDS and Ben is having a FIELD DAY with them! ROFL! They give us much too much credit, like, WOW!

Gus and I have not had the time to get back to people just because we are so very busy (his Chicago/Singapore program has already started and my day job has been kickin' my ***) and we probably won't for some time to come, officially. But I suppose it's okay to talk about it here, since it IS my off-the-record space.

This is our Grand Master Plan:

Gus is back in business school and I'm working on an entirely different Internet project called: ORIENTED.COM which, by and large, will have no direct ties to the current .ORG site except in name only and maybe some cross-promotionals but will hopefully provide even better services to Greater China's international community --> but with a sustainable business model. Anyone who has been following my journals regularly will know this because I talk about this openly.

I know this may be *DIFFICULT* for people to believe, but ORIENTED.ORG is a "gift" from Gus and myself to the international community here. Period. We can walk away today and know that we've contributed something of value, and of a more permanent nature. Can OTHERS say that too?! I THINK NOT.

Our close friends and family all know this and sometimes give us *bleep!* for it, saying that we are probably two of the most idiotic people on this planet earth to have spent so much time on a community project when we *should* spend our time more "wisely" and on more "practical" things like getting a REAL JOB, getting MARRIED, and having KIDS! (Errr... not with each other... ahem...)

Even more ridiculous is when these people who are USING our site start bashing us and accuse us of being so AWFUL and sneaky and manipulative! Good GOD!

And the idea of us taking content from the discussion forums and publishing it anywhere for ANYTHING would make us both the laughing stock of the entire Internet community! Our friends and family would probably roll over and DIE (not die laughing but actually DIE) of utter *humiliation* for being associated with us, as we would most likely win the Industry Standard's annual award for being the BIGGEST DING DONGS to ever exist on the World Wide Web!

Repeat after me:

"ORIENTED.ORG is a #&*%! good website and has really helped me a lot. I will continue to use it with much peace and happiness. Gus Adapon and Christine Hsu are *AWESOME* people because they actually do give a #&*%! about their peers in the international community and for that reason they should always be treated with the utmost kindness, respect, and appreciation."

If you don't believe it, keep saying it to yourself until you do. In the meantime, this sneaky little chick is going to focus her attentions on something REALLY awful!
