The day I get married...

I have no idea why, but for some reason a lot of my friends both old and new get so excited about the day I get married. It's like some big mystery to them as to what kind of guy I will end up with -- make that, what poor soul would be brave enough to marry me -- and when.

They also seem to think that it's going to be one rockin' good time, which is probably true, but STILL. What am I? A freakin' court jester? WOAH. THAT WAS LIKE THE BEST PUN I'VE COME UP WITH IN AWHILE! Get it?! "Court" and "jester"?? Errr... okay. Never mind.

I was emailing for a little bit with that Maid-of-Honor friend of mine from yesterday's entry after he sent me a few more photos from the wedding. We were both still laughing at the idea of him being the Maid-of-Honor when I wrote:

  • You know what, I really gotta hand it to ******* for being so
creative with YOU. Can't wait till I get married so I can pull
some numbers with my friends too HAHAHA!
He wrote back and said:
  • Yes, I can't wait until you get married too - then we can pull
LOTS of tricks and roasts on you too!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat....

Nelson's photos from Vegas...

Nelson finally got these to me today and said I could post 'em up. Awesome! These past few days have been trying. Last night I rushed home to meet two potential tenants (nice guys) and then ran back out to meet Mingson, Bob, and friends because Anne L. was in town with HP (and MAN she has not changed in the least bit, hysterical woman), phone
rang off the hook, then ran back home to work on that gosh darn DOCUMENT.

Today was equally busy -- and I finally finished that DOCUMENT but not without attaching
"a little note from Christine" about the difference between Chinese-English translators versus editors -- so I'm just going to post up photos from Vegas. It's times like these when I think, would having a man around make things better, or would it actually make things worse? Hmmm... I guess it depends on the man.

Duh!

Nelson took this picture of me standing on the windowsill of the hotel
room trying to open the curtains. Everything in America is so HUGE!

Window crawlers that Quynh brought back from Shanghai...
the scene in the background is actually the POOL downstairs!
