"Humor of the day..."
  • Ms. Patty made me laugh SO HARD last night through dialogue on SMS about her squash appointment that evening. Her final message to me was, "Oh christine ur wit is woozing out into a little puddle... NOT!" So funny!

  • Bill is back from Korea/London, yay! I missed him =) He also has a new personal site, it's going to be prrrrrrretty cool. Apparently we were both up at 4 a.m. yesterday and I almost, ALMOST, dragged him out to play pool with me until it was time to go to work... but I refrained. LOL.
Ah yes... between the two of them, I have rediscovered my love for picking on my friends, and Patty that girl, she is just too easy of a target! I can't decide if it's her British accent or her high-pitched voice or her VERY interactive personality or all of the above but whatever it is, I can totally IMAGINE her saying the things she types on SMS, lol!

The best word to describe her is --> "lovely".

Yes... Patty is very "lovely".

NOTE: "Patty" in British English is pronounced "POT Tee", with emphasis on the "POT", according to her. Must say that correctly when talking about Patty.

Other humor of the day -- I am officially declaring a JIHAD on my wardrobe! I have been wanting to change my wardrobe for the longest time -- stay away from BLACK Christine please! -- but just haven't been able to DRAG myself to go shopping (I hate shopping!) for new clothes! Ugh... so anyway, the other day I went out to get a Zinger burger and came back with a floral skirt, and let me tell you something -- this one's a serious hip hugger.

WORK IT GIRL...

"One small step for Christine... one giant leap for my kind..."

What can I say. I'm funny like that. Sorry, am listening to some serious salsa music over here, it's making me want to WIGGLE while I WORK.

(wiggle wiggle... work work... wiggle wiggle...)

Unrelated, a couple of people have asked me why I haven't commented on the China Airlines plane crash that occurred a few days ago near Penghu Island.
I already expressed my views of China Airlines here. And I tell my stupid friends who fly them all the time that they are stupid.

"Don't be stupid."

"Don't fly China Airlines."

What else is there for me to say?

Unfortunately, after a few months, people will go back to them anyway (stupid). No sympathies here... sorry.

Last but not least, I also haven't cared to comment on our DROUGHT and every 3rd-day water rationing here in Taipei because it's just so STUPID. No water at the gym, unpredictable cutoffs at home, etc. Ginny has had to come over to my building at least TWICE to pee (they turned off the water during the DAY at the Taipei World Trade Center EXHIBITION HALL... so gross!) and I had to take the brunt of her "Those #&*%! incompetent KMT f*** up again!" speech.

Every time something (anything) goes wrong with the operations of Taipei City, I get to listen to Ginny *bleep!* about the KMT.

Ugh.

Torture.

Otherwise, I'm really enjoying the weather these past few days. =) It's absolutely gorgeous outside, and this was a really fun write-up (lol...). Busy and productive, and I have a company dinner to go to this evening, too. Should be fun.

On a roll over here in Taipei City...

Care to join me?

By the way...

On this 28th day of May, 2002 -- "it" hit me.

I went home for lunch today because I had a craving for dumplings and wanted to walk around in the sun for a bit, played some piano as well and spent some time by myself. SOMEWHERE between my home and my office... I all-of-a-sudden knew exactly what I wanted in my life.

It has taken me almost 33.5 years to figure it out -- and boy did I frustrate many
a man who begged the question while I perpetually fumbled around for an answer (any answer) -- because up until now, I really DIDN'T know what I wanted.

But now I know.

I'm funny!
