Leaving Las Vegas...

When I realized that Quynh turned into Brent and Cindy turned into Jim (just kidding), I freaked out and ran out of the room, back for Nelson and Quynh's down the hall. Cindy had already left. Gosh darn it! Didn't get a chance to say good-bye to her, was not happy about that.

Steve got back from dropping her off at the airport while I packed, just in time to hang out for a little bit. I also got to see Mike H., finally! He stopped by the Venetian to say hello on his way back to L.A. I WAS SO PISSED THAT WE MISSED EACH OTHER THIS WEEKEND. He even brought his Scrabble board and was at the pool all day yesterday too! UGH. I was too busy running around with the group. My fault my fault...

The good thing is that Mike will be in Taipei in July, so we'll definitely hook up then. It seems that EVERYONE was in Vegas this weekend. One very psychotic town. We finally said our goodbyes, and I took off for the airport with Jim and Steve as our flights departed around the same time. Well... supposedly. Nice to spend a little time with them.

Overall, I had an EXCELLENT time in Vegas. It was a weekend to remember, thanks in no small part to the Big Geek. I'm already missing it just typing this entry. Am ever so thankful that I keep this online journal, despite the occasional backlog of entries (cough cough)...

Heaven on Earth -- Taco Bell

At the airport in Vegas, I was on standby and started to panic after missing the second of three afternoon flights, but luckily, they put me in first class on the 7:29 flight. I was just glad to be on the plane. I got a lot of work done at the airport, that's for sure, but I lost a couple of hours worth after this little guy took over my computer. Just ONE game, okay Little Man?
