A quick note about last night.

So a bunch of us grabbed dinner at the Black Forest Restaurant and then headed out to Tickle My Fantasy where others joined up, including Sherman, who just APPEARED out of nowhere. Apparently his company (in the bay area) all of a sudden told him he was needed here in Taipei so he didn't have time to tell us he was coming. 'Twas a weekend of out-of-town visitors! Sheesh! And of course I got to see Jim before he heads back to the West Coast. HOW IS IT that a person can be SO optimistic about everything, all the time, HUH? I don't think Jim is human. Really. I'll be seeing him soon in Vegas too, so we're looking forward to THAT!

Anyway, Corrina, Alvin and I left early to check out the nearby night market and then get some cold noodles at the same place I took Crouching Jimmy and Agent Paul a few weekends ago. This time, we DID see gangsters! Back at my place, the three of us talked until a very late hour before passing out. Just like old times. Am feeling homesick just typing this. Ugh. Also, those guys forced me to PIG OUT with them all weekend long! NASTY!

I do so love my godsister.

The truth is, I could hang out with Corrina and Alvin every day for the rest of my life and be very happy. Some friends you just can't get enough of. Anyway, for the first time in history, Corrina's memory failed her, and I promised to note this in my journals for today, LOL.

Corrina has one KILLER memory, and with it she makes you feel really SMALL if you forget any minute detail. (I'm not NEARLY as evil, really!) Both Alvin and I have been victims of her wrath many times over so today we were both GLOATING when she insisted that the photo I used in her profile was at Alvin's old apartment in Hong Kong when I knew FOR SURE that it was taken at Rich H.'s parents' place in Taipei. It was a moment to remember, and Alvin promised to remind her at regular intervals throughout their upcoming journeys. LOL.

They're headed off for Hong Kong, Turkey, and then Spain, but when they get back, Corrina promised to make an appearance on the Discussion Forums since I was complaining so much about her LACK of participation and support. But now (gulp!) I'm not so sure I want her to share her comments. She could REALLY torture me there... HELP! She's evil evil EVIL.

There is just too much going on for me to talk about today (though I did finish my taxes, yesterday's late entry, as well as tomorrow's Email Bulletin) but I will try to elaborate on the part that is bugging me at the moment -- my bad habit of sometimes setting unrealistic time schedules and expectations upon myself -- in this upcoming week.

Watch me not get to THAT either. I SUCK.
