GOSH GOLLY GEE WHIZ.

Okay I'm sorry, I am so, so, sorry, but my little "World According To Christine" is imploding!! Actually, it's COLLIDING -- with the Canadians! With Sam's World! HELP! Does this mean I actually have to share my space with someone else? And of all people, a CANADIAN?! What do those Canadians know anyway?!? I am still freaking OUT as I write this! HELP!

It all started last Thursday (shiver shiver...) when I surfed around the net and found and "met" Sam. We shook hands -- which in this New, New Economy, means that we signed each others' Guestbooks -- and moved on. I figured, eh. He's Canadian. I'm sure I have nothing in common with him other than the fact that we both keep blogs. WRONG. Right after lunch I got an email from Sam and it sent chills up my SPINE. He wrote:

	      so here i was reading your site, and
	      i'm going "you gotta be joking me"...
	      i was just reading your entry for march
	      19th... and i read about you being at
	      Corrina and Alvin's place... and I'm
	      going "no way. it can't be..." and then
	      i read HK, and i'm going "no way, it
	      can't be". and then i clicked on the
	      profile for corrina, and i'm going
	      "that's corrina and shang shang!!!" I
	      KNOW THEM!!! ... her younger brother...
	      happens to be one of my best friends
	      (real life) -- he's that "fishingguy"
	      dude that i refer to in MY pages now
	      and then... so yeah... i was floored
	      when i saw those pics..."

And then Sam and I went into a FLURRY of email exchanges. I am still FREAKED OUT about this! Corrina is one of my best friends and SAM is one of her BROTHER'S best friends??? How in the world can the world be that small?! I was just surfing around and I wasn't even digging deep! I think I started at AArisings.com and also found some Asian American journalist webrings but STILL. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE I say!

Sam will be seeing Corrina and Alvin this weekend and I will be seeing them next month, as we may try to do some traveling together. I was in the middle of writing today's entry but because of Shiver Sam's SHOCKING email, I have nothing more to say today. My life is like a freakin' sitcom. The scary thing is that it is all very, very real. Gods.

	      that two.  No, make that three.  No,
	      make that as many as you can get...
