Sunday, March 18th What about those crouching tigers? Crouching Tiger was pretty good, the film location was amazing, and I really liked both of the female lead actresses, but Chow Yun Fat's hairstyle wasn't doing anything for me. I'm sorry but... his head is just too big and round. The other thing that bugged me was the title of the movie itself. If it were up to me, I would have called it:
But that's just me. What *was* cool was that I actually understood a lot of the Chinese. Awesome! Later, I headed back for the apartment to take my first shower of the day (Ew!) and then met up with the folks at Milk Bar. By then, it was midnight, but whatever. It was my first night out clubbing this entire YEAR. Therefore, I shall do as I please. Thank you.

At Milk, I met up with Acer Ginny, Judy (I need to write a profile on her), Linda (her too), Augie, Augie's friend Chris, Angela, Bo-Lai, Paul (and him), Ginny, and Ginny's friend Alanna who was visiting from Hong Kong. She's a trip!
![]() Not too long after, some of us decided to check out Room 18, but we really didn't feel like paying the NT$800 cover charge (US$25) so when we got there, someone told me to "call Richard." So I of course, "called Richard." Sure enough, we instantly became "worthy" and got into the club without charge. Richard is that PHAT.

We waited outside for a little bit beforehand, and I went a little camera-happy. Since the club is located *at* Warners, I really started to feel like I was a photographer at the Oscars (or something like that), taking glam shots of friends all decked out as they showed up one by one in cabs. Silly. I had enough shots to create a separate album page, so click on Alanna's tongue -- if you can -- for more photos. These were the only ones that came out. Oh well.

It seemed like all of Taipei was there, Herman, Mike, Jimmy, Kathy, *Richard* and friends, Wennie who showed up later (what does "later" mean exactly?), Ben, Patrick, etc. and MAN can my girls BOOTIE SHAKE.
![]() I've been partying with some of these girls for years now, but even now when we go out, that same thought crosses my mind. I want to say that all ABCs can RAISE CAIN on the dance floor, but we know that ain't true (ahem... if you can't dance... please leave). These women friends of mine however, can really cause some SERIOUS damage out there. OUCH!

I am so very tempted to take a camcorder with me one of these days and make a video of us bit**** (Did I just say that? Oh oops!). In fact, maybe one day, I will. Eventually we will all be married with kids. Might as well capture the moment while I can. Then again, I will never stop shakin' it -- even with kids -- and I doubt these guys will either, just because we're already so old (ouch!). Hey. If Tina Turner can keep it up, then so can I. ENOUGH SAID.

I got up late this morning (gee I wonder why) and found myself alone at the apartment. Cool beans! Actually our housecleaner was there, but she's so quiet that I hardly noticed her presence. So I did some MASSIVE organizing.
![]() Did my laundry, threw out a bunch of paperwork, checked my receipts for winning numbers, trimmed my fingernails, and most importantly, painted my toe nails. With Urban Decay, but of course. I now feel complete. YEAH.
![]() Am having dinner with Acer Ginny tonight, and then we're going shopping. This will be the FIRST time in TWO YEARS that I am allowing myself to relax like this on a Sunday evening. Honest to God, this time last year, I was so stressed out that I could NOT enjoy myself -- not at all -- working on ORIENTED with every spare moment that my eyes weren't shut.
![]() For sure, it was all worth it. I've never worked so hard on something in my entire life, and I have already received more ROIs than I ever expected. Maybe not at the financial level just *yet*, but personally... the returns have been extraordinary. It's about time I started to have some fun. And that, I most certainly am.
Wow. Long entry. 'Twas not my intention. OH WELL.
