Saturday, March 10th Last night was a mellow one... Dinner at Mr. Pacos was yummy -- per usual -- and Mr. Paco was looking MIGHTY fine -- per usual. Too bad I can never take pictures with my spycam there. And, per usual, we ordered the Seafood Penne with tomato-based cream sauce. My favorite. That dish used to be white-cream based until Quynh *strongly* suggested otherwise. She does get her way! At the restaurant, we also ran into Bob CHOU and Josh HAN -- the Ultimate frisbee guys! Bob has been working for Wcities in Beijing for quite awhile now and yet I always seem to run into him whenever he is back in town. Is Taipei THAT small? Josh I also haven't seen in awhile. He is now the proud father of a little girl! SHEESH. TIME FLIES.
![]() Afterwards, we walked over to Malibu's and ran into Graham on the way. He of course was on his way to meet Josh and those guys. At Malibu's, we met up with Joe and Diane to pick up the you-know-whats! YES. Joe and Diane are a great couple, it's fun to be around those two. We also ran into Mandy, Joanne and Ruby. I hadn't realized that Malibu's was such a hot spot. Then again, any place with a decent pool table is cool with me.

Later we stopped by Mike's place to check out his scanner but ended up watching the premier episode of Friends instead. (Note Mike's profile, and then note the posters on his walls... no kidding, split personality...). By then it was pretty late, and though the show was entertaining, the whole series is getting old. Worse is that Chandler -- whose photo resides on my desktop, next to Tina Turner -- is looking rather *feminine* these days. Nasty.

Razorfish David took off with a bunch of people to check out Yang-Min San, and Adella I figured was out teaching. Just as I was about to run out the door, I realized that -- SOMEBODY LOCKED ME IN. HELP!
![]() We have this weird double-lock metal door which can't be unlocked from the inside. ONE of them (...David!) didn't realize I was still home upon leaving the house! A bunch of people live near me, Patty, Tommy, Ben, etc., but the only person I could locate was... Ben!
![]() I hesitated to call Ben because I haven't featured him much on my site (but that's because he never CALLS me, ahem...) and I had a feeling he was the type to FUSS about it if given the opportunity. But, I needed to get out, so I called him. Sure enough, I was forced to listen to him go off about the above until he finally agreed to come over and open the door for me so for the record, I am featuring him here. Thank you sweetie! KISS KISS! BYE BYE!

I had a very productive day, finished Monday's EB, caught up with some emails, worked on the last few profiles I've been wanting to do for this site, and wrote up the position description for a CFO-for-rent, which I'll go into later. Gus was in the neighborhood and stopped by to pick up his portion of the you-know-whats (LOL). It's always nice to see him.
![]() I'm having dinner with May and Tony tonight and then hopefully catching Crouching Tiger. I didn't get a chance to see it when it was playing in Taipei earlier this year, and apparently, it is back in the theatres for a second run. I have no idea who I'm going to see it with but that's the fun of it all. Life is Taipei is like a box of chocolates, I never... errr... never mind. Stupid.
