"A social faux pas..."

So last night, I kinda screwed up.

Make that... I REALLY screwed up.

Since a bunch of us were leaving for the holidays, I thought it might be fun to get everyone together for a pre-Christmas dinner, nothing too formal, you know how
it is. So when I mentioned the idea to Lisa over the weekend, she said that Alex was leaving for the East Coast on Tuesday, etcetera etcetera, and was starting to make my head spin so I was like, eh...

Let's just get the girls together, would be much easier.

Ladies' Night Out, porque no?

While I made all the arrangements, I was to later discover that the girls took the opportunity to make it a SURPRISE birthday dinner for me! Yep... I planned my own surprise birthday party and didn't even know it myself!

Cindy, Lisa, Quynh and Anne --> Guilty, guilty, guilty, and guilty!

Though very sweet of them. =)

But even more surprising was when one-by-one, the girls showed up and said,

"Kevin wanted to know why he couldn't come..."

"Yeah, Nelson wanted to come too!"

"Justin was like, what about me?"

Though everyone said they were just kidding and that the guys were FINE with it, I was like...

WOAH.

Time for a little crisis management.

So immediately after I got home from dinner -- which by the way was absolutely lovely -- I made all the calls and sent out all the emails necessary to make sure all the boys were okay with what happened, and may this be a public apology as well.

Sigh... it ain't easy being me.
