"Busier than I care to be..."

For all intents and purposes (lol...), I am busier than I care to be and am not having much fun at the moment trying to

  • Coordinate with web developers for final changes to the .COM site (so difficult over email)
  • Move all the files from .COM to OrientedHappyHours.com
  • Get a flight to Taipei first week of the year, need to get back asap
  • Research merchant account services given our unusual circumstances
  • Figure out how to structure web functionality between .COM and the OHHs
  • Continue writing web content (way overdue)
On top of it all, I think I damaged my left eye when taking out my contact lense last night before going to bed because today, it really hurts, and I am having to wear my glasses.

That sucks.

At least I'm not breaking out at all, and yet I still wonder if it is because a) I have finally mastered the Art of Stress Management though I may not be happy about the workload, or b) I'm just too old to be breaking out any more.

Now that sentence made me laugh... =)

On the phone with Carol on Sunday -- yep, we have re-established our Sunday brunch sessions but by phone instead of in person -- I was complaining how I'd really like to get out and meet some new people and get back into the dating scene as well but that I just don't have the time, to which she pointed out that I certainly make the time to workout and go to Starbucks regularly HELLO?! but that the problem is that I'm just not making it a priority.

To which I said, "... oh."

So on that day, I made the commitment to her and myself to attend a social or professional function at least once a week, during the weekdays, going forward.

Only problem is, I'm outta here tomorrow (home for the holidays), am only back on the West Coast for New Years and then am off to Taipei again!

As I said... not really enjoying myself right now.

(sad)

In any case, to expedite my dating scene at least, I posted a profile on the AA dating site Click2Asia.com, so if any of you know of a Mr. Big and Buffy who fits my ideal description as indicated, please send him my way, asap.

My profile -- Click2Christine -- makes me laugh, in spite of how stressed I am right now. It's pretty funny...
