On this date last year...

"One last visit to the office..."

Had no choice but to go back into the office this morning to get my personal files off my desktop computer and had to admit... I really didn't feel comfortable there any more. Not at all. Dunno why (actually I think I do but it would be so not PC for me to elaborate...) and was determined to get out of there by lunch time... which I did.

Because when it's time to go --> it is time to GO.

Amen.

Basically spent the day doing more packing, and getting all the stuff that I won't be bringing this time around to the States, onto this metal rack that I bought and placed in the back corner of the living room.

My housemates were kind enough to allow me to leave it there for a bit, so I've been sorting things between my two suitcases, boxes to ship, and that rack.

Relatively uneventful day I think, just busy.

The only moment to mention was mailing off my print journals -- I've kept one for each year that I've lived in Taiwan, up until I began this online journal -- as well as letters from family and friends that I had collected over the years.

I had a mini panic attack after leaving the post office and had to call Flora to talk it out, as the idea of that package getting lost in the mail just freaked me out...

Also had a late dinner with Chao-Hwa and Uncle Paul at the food court of the Far Eastern... I love their egg salad oh yum yum...
