Sunday, October 6th On this date last year... "Good friends..." I couldn't believe Felicia that girl, she is so sweet! All last week she had called and emailed me from Kaohsiung to tell me that she was coming into Taipei this weekend just to spend some time with me before I leave, and I could barely get back to her (or others) much less COMMIT to a time out from all the packing I had to do, so what ended up happening was this: I spent the day cleaning up my junk from the office and then met up for an early dinner (late afternoon snack...) at Chili's with Berta and Felicia, as Felicia had stayed over at her place last night and then had lunch with relatives (I think that's what she did).
Afterwards, Felicia came with me back to the apartment and basically spent the rest of the evening helping me to PACK! So sweet of her, sheesh! And honestly, I wouldn't have gotten nearly as much done without her, including going to the night market to buy another suitcase. So, we got to catch up afterall, which was so nice. Felicia stayed in my room that evening while I slept on the couch in the living room, and she left way early in the morning for the airport so that she could make it to her morning classes in Kaohsiung on time. I can't believe how nice my friends are to me, gyosh... And I can't believe how mean I can be to them, like posting these pictures with Felicia's eyes closed, lol!! I was so happy that I got a picture of Berta's eyes OPENED (see? there I go being mean again, lol) that it didn't bother me one bit that Felicia's eyes were shut in both photos... or are they opened?
