Another short entry.

Well, whenever I say that I intend to sit down and write a short paragraph and add a photo, but somehow, the entries end up being not-so-short. Let's see what happens with this one.

Last night we went out for Adella's birthday and had a great time. We met up with Lisa and Matt from the Princeton Review, Purple who works for AsiaContent, and Jackie and her nephew who are aborigines from the Paiwan tribe. Very interesting. Dinner was great, and then we hung out at the Q-Bar and played pool for pretty much the rest of the evening. It was a very relaxing and fun night. Click on the beer bottle for more photos.

The weather seems back to normal today.

Though my laptop at home is now fully functional, I'm so used to dropping in to the office on the weekends that I find myself here again today. I don't remember when I started doing this but it's become a not-so-good habit. I enjoy being here by myself but I suppose this will change soon. Make that as of next week.

Today I finished the EB for Monday, chatted a little with Ben (he's had a webcam for quite some time and I'm wanting to convince all of my other friends to get one, got some ideas going on in my head), convinced Jeremy to be a forum moderator (yes!), moved my photo album from my Geocities account to this one, started to draft a position description for dotcom's financials which I will finalize and advertise tomorrow because I need assistance, added another entry to the photo album from last night, and thought a bit about the Asian Internet Awards. I submitted the nomination for this site yesterday with this:

HeyChristine.com is a "New Economy Comedy", an online,
real-life drama about the trials and tribulations of
a young female entrepreneur who is struggling to raise
funds for her Greater China dotcom idea while working
full-time as an editor at a local company in Taipei.

Through her "personal journals" and a live webcam
     (weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Taipei time), a zany
cast of real-life characters are intertwined in the
storyline with a humorous twist about their lives as
international professionals living and working in
Asia. As a new entertainment medium, this qualifies
as a "New Concept" and may open doors for many other
productions (online and offline) going forward.
Every now and then, I can be serious. There's a lot I could do with this, but I'm going to think about it a little longer. The contest runs for another three months... we'll see what happens. Heading out to meet the babes for dinner. I'm tired but wired.
