Thursday, February 15h Is it possible to have an uneventful day? Guess so. I'm even answering my own questions. It happens. I worked until late last night, which is normal, but what was weird was that Gus stuck around as well. Evidently Jeannie was helping out at AsiaWorks (there's that word again) so Gus was hanging out until she was done. He and I got a chance to catch up, which actually doesn't happen that often, so that was cool. We must have talked for hours.
![]() Change is in the air. I should be used to such unknowns by now but it's always a little bit disorienting. We really planned well for this, knowing from the start that the .ORG site must be as self-sustaining as we could possibly make it. It's an incredibly satisfying feeling knowing that we've accomplished all the goals we set out to do, almost exactly two years ago. It's just a little weird that it will all be coming to an end soon. At least this stage of it.
![]() Our talk last night reminded me how important this personal site is for the both of us. I've captured at least a portion of the memories, thank GOODNESS. Without it, there would be no way I could remember all the things that happen just because my memory SUCKS, no I mean because I THINK too much (yes that's it). I think that's why I used to be so camera-happy (okay still am...) but ANYWAY.
Enough of this sappiness before I make my site visitors AND myself throw up.

I actually had some time today to play around with it, partly because Gus was out today - meaning there was no one around to interrupt me - and partly because the underwater cables are still being repaired, meaning that productivity for all of Taiwan is down until they're fixed. I was TOTALLY focused today:

Last but not least... Wennie and I went out for lunch today. The weather was absolutely gorgeous so I whipped out my camera, though I feel sorry for the guy who took our picture for us. I think he was centering on the vertical UFO but anyway... This camera is great for close-up shots, but from a distance it gives that "fish-eye" effect. Actually, I kind of LIKE that effect as it offers a sense of motion. Man am I babbling aimlessly today or WHAT. Let me stop here. Word.
