Thursday, February 8th Today in sum... Busy doing what I do not know. Random stuff. Cell phone got cut off because I haven't paid the bills for four months maybe? Had to take care of that. Double booked an appointment with a potential web design house for next week. Had to take care of that. Finally got my PayPal password mailed to me and made some transactions for the first time. That only took me two months. Checked my P.O. box which I only remember to do maybe once a month? Discovered more *Christmas* cards. STUPID stuff like that. Am starting to wonder if perhaps I am trying to do too much here. WHAT'S my name again?

I also got a chance to read up on a backlog of email newsletters, two in particular that I liked about Venture Van and Valley of Shadows. Those were two very well-written articles. I appreciate the fact that I don't have to login to an account to read them, a total turn-off in my opinion. Which reminds me. This is the week in which I shall be committing the Ultimate Sin - I'm gathering all of my old IS magazines, and I'm throwing them all away. Sad.

Adella called at the last minute yesterday and asked me if I wanted to go to the Lantern Festival with her at the CKS Memorial. "Sure," I said. She brought her camera with her and I just went to tag along, but once we got there I thought, "Whoa." There were tons of people everywhere, and the lights were AMAZING. ![]() I whipped out my little pencam which I always leave in my purse and started snapping away, but I didn't have high expectations that the photos would come out since the camera is too small to have a flash. BOY was I wrong. One more page to add to my Photo Album. This photo set took me all of ten minutes to create, including the time it took to download from the camera, etc. Very cool. I don't know why but for some reason I felt like I was in CHINA while walking through the courtyard. This snake is made of crushed Taiwan Beer cans:
![]() My Photo Album was such an afterthought. Once I got this little digital camera, I was able to take more pictures than I knew what to do with, so as a temporary place holder I threw everything over to my Geocities account and figured I'd deal with them later. Next thing I knew, I had an ad-hoc photo album. Eventually I'll move them over to this site but for now, I'll "store" them there. Nothing quite like Mark's though... his online photo album is absolutely BeAuTiFuL! Wennie just got back from Europe and cruised by my desk, here's a random cam shot of us looking at my lantern photos. I noticed it after she walked off... kind of funny.
