Today was a weird day.

Let's see if I can describe it. First, certain individuals are emailing me and telling me that they are "mesmerized" and "addicted" to this site. Now if they were weird psychos whom I do NOT know personally who just fell upon my site and started harrassing me... that's one thing. But the individuals I speak of are my friends!

Help!

My greatest fear in creating this site was that it would not meet my objective of raising awareness of ORIENTED to the right people but rather attract weirdos who stalk women on the net who in that case would be the WRONG people. How was I to know that this site would bring out the psychos amongst my own friends!

And then...

A *specific* friend who works for Goldman Sachs in Tokyo is STILL harassing me about not being profiled in my Who's Who list and now *his* friends are writing in and asking why he's not listed?! I'm like, is THAT what you guys do all day at GS?

Let's break this down, shall we...

I haven't seen this guy in over FIVE years.

This weekend was the FIRST time he's called me in Taipei, EVER.

I can count the number of times he's emailed me within this past year on my HANDS.

Unlike other friends, he has NEVER come to Taipei to visit me. And he lives in Tokyo! How embarrassing is that?!

He refuses to impress upon his sister why her company should sponsor the hosting fees of my site which would cost them PIDDLY SQUAT.

He says that they only work with "companies that can show profits" and does NOT believe me when I tell him that marketing costs are on the EXPENSE and not the REVENUE line because "he has an MBA degree" and therefore he knows.

But the greatest sin of them all is that he refuses to add his listing to the ORIENTED People Directory or even sign-up to receive the EB even AFTER I asked him to JUST to show support (shame on him!) and now he wants an "honorable mention" on my site?!

I don't THINK so.

HOW can I make the above mention HONORABLE?

And finally...

My site partner has been sending me all kinds of weird banners that I just don't know what to do with. It all started a few days ago when I showed him Thursday's entry. I thought it was absolutely hysterical. HE didn't think it was funny at ALL. Since today's entry is about all this WEIRDNESS, I figured I might as well stick those banners here. I have no idea what else I can do with them. Refresh the page to roll through the banners. GAWDS.
