Christine:Found your site through Ben via Eric (3/15/2001 journal entry). Nice site that you have there, different than many of journal sites I've been reading on the Net lately. Lots of good content, especially your well-done friends profile section. Best wishes on the projects you're working on in Taiwan. When you return to the States, be sure to look us up! -adam

Very nice site! I'm enjoying reading your journal. I'm fascinated by information flow on the web. I mean, what are the chances that you'd find my page, write about it, and have me find it only a few days later? crazy. oh -- I may be in Taiwan to see my grandparents sometime soon. If I end up in Taipei, I'll try to track you down. :)

Hi Christine,Thanks for the stupendous hospitality and introducing me and Jimmy to your friends. Too bad you couldn't make it to Room 19 with us last night. I made it to my flight with more than enough time to spare. I should have listened to you and left later, but I hate being late. Punctual is good right. Let me start working on your's, Barbara's, and Acer Ginny's requirements. Thanks, Paul

HeyChristine. So there I was, just minding my own business, playing with my new Spy Cam Toy, when one of my co-workers walked by. She was sold before I could say anything. Anyways, please say that you still have one left, and that you'll save it for me... :*

Hey Christine,Great website. Having designed a few sites and participated in several website focus groups, I just wanted to say that your site conveys a simple, yet well-thought out design. So rare these days. And hey, you've already got the one ingredient that so many other dot coms don't even yet comprehend: a loyal subscriber base! Quick question -- who did your graphics? As for your pen cam shots, I just wanted to say that you've convinced me to get one. I've thought about getting one for a while now, but hadn't decided if I should just get it, or go for a more expensive mega-mega pixel camera. I'll still go for that expensive camera later (Canon Powershot G1 w/ an IBM 1G Microdrive?), but I can definitely make use of a pen cam now. Speaking of your pen cam, doesn't it suck (even in the least bit) to have it take pics of you, sitting in front of your computer, in your office, day after day? Don't get me wrong, I'm not downing you, your job, nor anyone else's, and especially not the way you've chosen to use your camera. But wouldn't it be so much cooler to have pics of all sorts of different people and places each and every day? Even each and every week would be pretty cool, wouldn't it? I know, office cams and the like are more spy cams than anything else for the rest of us voyeurs, hence the day-in and day-out images of the same locale. What I've got in mind is this. I've been planning on starting a journal for a long, long time now. But for some reason, an online journal just wasn't appealing to me, until I came to this site (thanks, Ginny). I haven't thought too much about the details of the website/journal, but what I do know is that I often have some strange (and at times interesting) thoughts to express as I'm out and about doing my thing, triggered by certain images or other things I see. I think you can probably see what I've got planned for the pen cam. Anyhow, great site, love it lots, and congrats! =D John.

Hello! Sorry for this late reply!POWERPUFFGIRL: Yep, I still have some left, just let me know (call or email me) with a final count! CINDY: If you post your question on the Q&A section of the bulletin boards, you are sure to get a lot of help from others, try it! SPROUT: Actually I do take pictures of people, places, etc. as much as I can (to the point where I am taking pictures of rundown local Taiwanese pickup trucks) since I use this journal as a window to Taipei for those who are thinking about working here or who have already left. It depends entirely on how busy I am and lately, it's been CRAZY!! LOL! Read here: http://www.heychristine.com/journals/02-23-01.html Note that I have TWO cameras. One's a WEBCAM, which is where my officecam shots come from. It takes a new shot every 60 seconds, so by the end of the work day I have TONS to choose from, just so as not to make my entries picture-less and text-heavy. All other photos of people, places, food, my toenails, my shoes, my business cards, Starbuck cups, etc. are with my pencam/spycam, of which I own two. Just to clarify, did you want to get one from ME or were you just saying in general that you want one? Later folks! - Christine

Christine -- I apologize for my hasty comments... I guess I just didn't go back far enough in your journal. Pretty cool!As for buying the pen cam, no, I can get it myself. Your price is better than what I've seen here, but considering overseas shipping costs... I was wondering, what do you like/dislike about it? There are a few choices I have, as far as resolution and memory, lense improvement, and even ones w/ voice functions. One of the ones I'm looking at is not really a pen cam, but it's a lot thinner and narrower than other digital cams. I've read some reviews that have talked about the fish lense effect of the Dolphin & the Aiptek, but to be honest, I kind of like it... What do you think? Sorry John! I had configured it as such when I first incorporated these bulletin boards. I'll leave the HTML on for now. Also, do ask questions on the Q & A section sweetheart! This is my Guestbook! Just for you, I've started a new thread in the Q&A about pencams... go to!
